Shape the future of education – are you interested in supporting governance at The Dean Trust?
Contributing to a voluntary governance role is a great way to have a positive impact on the communities which the Trust serves, by making a difference to the lives of its young people.
At The Dean Trust we are always interested to hear from people who have a passion and drive for supporting our vision and values. Governance roles vary across the Trust; from Members to Trustees, Committee Members to Community Governors – all have a vital role to play. A model of the Trust’s governance structure is available to view here
Whichever role you are interested in, you will help steer the Trust and its schools, contribute towards vision and ethos, whilst supporting and challenging staff to deliver their goals. You will be part of a team committed to improving the lives and future prospects of young people.
The Dean Trust will be there to support you throughout your governing journey. You will never have to make a decision in isolation and expert help is always available. We provide induction training, advice and both one-to-one and team support throughout your term of office.
Who can apply?
You don’t need any formal qualifications, but depending upon the role we may look for certain skill strengths and areas of expertise. Of course, you will also care about and have a commitment to the future of young people living in your community.
All applicants must be over 18, living in the UK and will need a Disclosure and Barring Service check before they start.
