Lead Pupil Support Manager

Home / Vacancies / Lead Pupil Support Manager

The Dean Trust is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and enthusiastic Lead Pupil Support Manager to join a very talented and dedicated team of staff at Dean Trust Ardwick.

Dean Trust Ardwick is a recent addition to The Dean Trust family of schools and began life in September 2015 in a purpose-built new school for 120 Year 7 pupils. Since opening in 2015 we are gaining a good reputation and pride ourselves on our high standards. From September 2016, the staff and pupils moved into the new 1200 place school. Since September 2019, we have a full complement of pupils, whilst still enjoying the benefits a growing school brings.

Main purpose of job

  • To provide a complementary service to existing teachers and pastoral staff in school, addressing the needs of children to help them overcome barriers to learning both in and outside school, in order to achieve their full potential
  • To promote optimum student performance and achievement by supporting student attendance, behaviour and learning
  • To improve communication and collaboration across the Pupil Support Team

This is a new role due to school growth and an ideal opportunity for an individual to work in a brand-new school and to help set the standard and ethos for what is intended to be an outstanding school in the heart of Manchester.

The Dean Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All post holders are subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring check and Disqualification Declaration.
